In October of 2014, Biosafety expert Sean Kaufman stopped by "New Day Weekend" right before boarding a plane to Monrovia, Liberia. He is bravely going to the West African nation– where 2,000 people have been killed by the disease– to teach them protective medical tactics and to provide sanitation gear. Ensuring the Safety of Nurses and Doctors during Ebola Outbreak

In August of 2014, Sean Kaufman (President, Behavioral-Based Improvement Solutions) developed and trained the Emory Healthcare nurses and doctors on proper donning and doffing of personal protective equipment prior to the arrival of Dr. Brantly and Nancy Writebol.  In addition, Sean worked 15 hour days in the Isolation Unit as the site manager watching the nurses and ensuring maximum containment during the first clincal treatment of Ebola in the United States. Click here to read more.
