Laboratory Safety Leadership Summit

In partnership with the American Society for Microbiology, ABSA International, American Association for Laboratory Animal Science, Association of Public Health Labortories, Elizabeth R. Griffin Research Foundation, and CRDF Global - we would like to invite leaders who prepare, protect, and promote safety within the laboratory workforce to the 2016 Laboratory Safety Leadership Summit:  Leadership in the Face of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

This event will be held at The Georgian Club - in Atlanta, Georgia beginning the evening of February 3, 2016.  Starting at 6:30pm, all participants will be invited to attend a formal dinner and opening address by the Executive Director of the Elizabeth R. Griffin Research Foundation - Jim Welch.  Each participating partner identifies a member - who then becomes faculty of the Leadership Summit.  Each faculty member delivers an hour long lecture within the theme of the Summit and assists with the facilitation of leadership exercises throughout the event.

We are currently in the process of identifying all faculty members - the titles of their presentations - and solidifying the leadership exercises.  Course tuition is $650.00 (USD) and includes a formal dinner, daily breakfast and lunch, course manual, e-resource thumb drive, certificate of completion, and complete access to all lectures, leadership exercises, and networking opportunities.

This webpage will be updated frequently - with the program agenda and complete faculty list.  For more information about this event - please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
