Biological Risk Mitigation Leadership & Communication
June 27-28, 2023
Tuition for this program is $500.00 USD and includes 12 hours of interactive training, certificates of completion, course manual (pdf) and 10 PACE credits upon request. Participants will be asked to participate in 10 - 1-hour sessions addressing biorisk management leadership and communication. This program is limited to 10 participants to ensure the highest level of instructor to participant interaction.

BSL2 Science and Safety Training Program

This is a 16-hour remote based course with LIVE lectures, team assignments, module examinations, and certificates of completion for participants who score an 85% or better on the final examination.
Upon completing this program, participants will be able to:
Differentiate the differences between BSL1, BSL2, BSL3, and BSL4.
List the four primary controls of biosafety.
Discuss inherent and residual risk factors.
Describe several safety surveillance programs.
Perform a biorisk management gap analysis.
Evaluate, validate, and verify standard operating procedures.
Discuss the ISO35001 Biological Risk Mitigation Standard.
Identify strategies for increasing situational awareness in the laboratory.
Describe the containment philosophy and workflow.
Discuss the different types of biosafety cabinets.
List the steps for effective donning and doffing of PPE.
Demonstrate the BEAKING METHOD.
Respond to biological spills in the laboratory.
Discuss laboratory emergency preparedness and response strategies.
Identify and manage personality differences in the laboratory.
Integrate emotional, behavioral, and biorisk management intelligence strategies.
Course Tuition is $750.00 USD and includes course manual, access to training platform, and certificate of completion for students who successfully complete the program.
