Inter & Intrapersonal Safety in the Laboratory

This program will be facilitated by Sean Kaufman.

Residual risks are primarily human risk factors which are often overlooked when performing risk assessments and development risk management strategies. What someone believes about themselves (intra) and how they relate to others (inter) has a direct influence on overall safety behaviors and attitudes in the laboratory.

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  1. Differentiate inter and inter personal risk factors.

  2. Identify potential hazards (i.e. over confidence, complacency, conflict) related to inter and intra personal issues.
